Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Tester to join our team and ensure the quality and reliability of our software products before release. The successful candidate will design and execute test cases, identify bugs, and collaborate closely with developers to resolve issues. This is a full-time, office-based role ideal for someone passionate about delivering flawless user experiences.
Job Responsibilities
- Design, write, and execute manual and automated test cases
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements
- Participate in requirement and design reviews to ensure testability
- Maintain and update test documentation and test plans
- Verify bug fixes and conduct retesting before release
- Report testing progress and results to the project team
Candidate Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Work experience: 1-3 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing
Professional skills: Manual testing, test case design, bug tracking tools (Jira, Bugzilla), SQL basics, understanding of SDLC and STLC, basic knowledge of automated testing tools (Selenium is a plus), API testing familiarity
Personal qualities: Attention to detail, analytical thinking, strong communication skills, problem-solving mindset, patience, team collaboration, ability to work under deadlines
